Abstract:
Spatial Installations have the potential to highly differentiate the perceptual and spatial qualities of the space they are located at. Within the last 15 years, with the development of design and manufacturing technologies, spatial installations have become an important constituent of design and space they are located at. This project aims to create a temporary or permanent spatial installation at a not yet defined location in TEDU campus. The undefined nature of the location is preferred for not limiting the design process and alternatives. It is foreseen that regardless of its position, any spatial installation has the potential to highly differentiate its surrounding, together with an extended effect on visitor's perceptions. After the implementation, the team will also produce scientific outputs by publishing an article in a national or international journal, presenting the design, implementation and realization processes.
